The public was invited to review the Draft Mission, Vision & Guiding Principles for the COSCA Strategic Plan. Conejo Canyons Bridge Opening Celebration

Details:

COSCA, City of Thousand Oaks, Conejo Recreation and Park District, and Conejo Open Space Foundation celebrated completion of COSCA's new Hill Canyon trail bridge with an Opening Ceremony followed by a BBQ Lunch.  We welcomed hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians of all ages to join us  for 1-hour hike/bike ride/horseback ride across the new bridge and along the Hill Canyon Trail prior to the luncheon. The Conejo Canyons Bridge provides the long-awaited "missing link" between trails in Wildwood Park and Conejo Canyons Open Space.

 

COSCA Strategic Plan Public Workshop

Details:

The Conejo Open Space Conservation Agency hosted a public workshop to solicit public comments as a basis for developing a strategic plan for the open space and trail system of the Conejo Valley. The public provided their opinions and thoughts about the mission of COSCA, as well as their vision of how the open space and trail system should develop in the future.  Click here to view flyer.

Final Conejo Canyons Management Plan

and Mitigated Negative Declaration

Details:

The Conejo Open Space Conservation Agency has finalized the Conejo Canyons Open Space Management Plan.  The Management Plan provides a comprehensive guide for long-term management of the Conejo Canyons’ unique natural, cultural and scenic resources while providing for compatible passive multi-use, trail-based recreational activities.
